First Performance

Last Friday was the Vikette's first performance! The dance was to a "Bon-Jovi Mix" that had everyone in the crowd singing along. For drill team, it is very crucial to look your best for the first performance because that's what carries you throughout the year. The Vikettes had worked extremely hard each class period to become prepared for Friday night's game.
The time had come, and halftime had arrived. The Vikettes won over the crowd and provided a terrific show. As captain of the drill team, I couldn't be more proud! The girls gave a lot of effort to making the first dance a memorable one. I couldn't ask for a greater group of hard-working girls.
